Space Management
The first section of the program we will discuss is found by clicking on this menu. Nothing can be done until the space inventory is entered into the database through the data entry windows here. By "space inventory", we mean the list of sites, buildings, floors, and rooms in a facility. You can analyze your situation in two ways. You can work in a detailed manner or on a macro scale. The detailed method requires you to input all your buildings, floors and rooms. With this method, you can assign rooms to work assignments and adjust workloads fairly. You can also inspect by supervisory zone and building. It does take some time to enter this data. We can help you if you have a space inventory in another program, by migrating the data from it.
Or, you can use the Quick Build function to get data in quickly. If you want or need information quickly prior to getting a detailed space inventory into the software, you can take the macro approach. To do this, just input the total square footage of each type of space.
Create a 'room' to represent your entire square footage of each area type. Do this for your whole site, or building by building. Even doing the macro approach requires some sort of space inventory to have been performed. The more accurate your inventory is, the more accurate your staffing prediction will be. This software is an excellent medium for recording your inventory, and does make the remainder of the task of developing a staffing model a relatively fun task.
Space Management & Quick Build (Step 1 of 3)
The Quick Build Wizard makes it easy to build a virtual model of you space inventory.
Space Management & Quick Build (Step 2 of 3)
You can use the Quick Build function to get data in quickly. If you want or need information quickly prior to getting a detailed space inventory into the software, you can take the macro approach. To do this, just input the total square footage of each type of space
Space Management & Quick Build (Step 3 of 3)
The Quick Build Wizard will build a digital reflection of your institution in three simple steps. You can then refine your model my doing more detail space inventory.
Space Management & Reports

There are a variety of ways to view your space inventory, including breakdowns by route, area type, department, code, and floor type. Note that you can exclude or include any building by selecting it or deselecting it in the Include In Report column. You can also change the Scope and Details level at the time if you just wish to see a summary with totals by subheading. Toggling between Current Institution and Current Site changes the building list if there are multiple sites associated with your institution.
